PadVitals (“the App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This policy explains how information is handled in the App.
The App is available for iOS and for Android, and this policy applies to both. Some features are platform-specific; where that is the case, it is stated explicitly (for example, “iOS only”).
The App is developed and provided by an individual developer.

The App has no feature that asks you to enter or register personal information such as your name, email address, phone number or postal address. The App therefore does not collect any of that information from you.
The App works with the input state of the connected game controller (buttons, sticks, triggers, rumble, sensors and so on) and with the diagnostic results computed from it. That data is processed and stored on your device only, and is never sent to the developer or to any external server (the App uses no server or API for diagnosis).
Some information is, however, processed automatically through the third-party services described below.
Both the iOS and the Android version of the App use Google’s advertising service “AdMob” to deliver ads. To deliver and optimize ads, AdMob may automatically collect information such as an advertising identifier, device information, usage data, and approximate location derived from an IP address. That information is handled in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. Controller input data and diagnostic results handled by the App are never sent to AdMob.
On Android, AdMob uses the advertising ID (Google Advertising ID), so the app declares the AD_ID permission. Consent for advertising is obtained through Google’s UMP (User Messaging Platform).
[iOS only] Apple’s SKAdNetwork is used to measure ad performance. With SKAdNetwork, when an ad shown in the App leads to another app being installed, information indicating that outcome (such as an ad campaign identifier) is reported to the ad network through Apple. Apple designed this mechanism so that individual users cannot be identified, and the App does not send any information that identifies you personally.
[iOS only] If you buy ad removal (a one-time purchase), no ads are shown. The Android version has no one-time purchase, and ads are shown to all users.
On iOS only, Apple’s StoreKit is used to purchase and restore ad removal (a one-time purchase). Payment is processed by Apple, and the developer never receives payment information such as your credit card number. The Android version has no in-app purchase, and ads cannot be hidden there.
Diagnostic results, diagnosis history and app settings are stored on your device only, and are never transmitted to or stored on a server operated by the developer. Deleting the App also deletes that data from your device.
Apart from what follows from the use of the third-party services above (Google AdMob / Apple StoreKit), the App does not provide your information to third parties.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
This policy may be changed as needed without prior notice. Any change takes effect when the updated policy is posted on this page.
