PadVitals tests a game controller — DualSense, Xbox, MFi and others — right on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. Buttons, sticks and triggers appear in real time, and the app measures stick drift, circularity and the input event delivery rate. No PC and no cable required.

Watch it live
Buttons, sticks and triggers light up on a schematic in real time, with the raw values shown alongside.

Run a diagnosis and read the report
The wizard measures drift, circularity, buttons and triggers in turn, and lets you judge rumble by feel, then shows a per-item report you can share as it is.
What it does
- Demo mode walks through every screen without a controller, so you can see what the app does right away (the values shown are fictional)
- Diagnostic data never leaves your device — measurement and history stay on the device
- Buttons, sticks and triggers shown in real time, with their current values
- Measures how far the delivered values sit away from centre — for checking stick drift
- Measures stick circularity
- Tells apart which buttons registered a press during the check and which did not (either way, a button that did not register may simply not have been pressed, so nothing is called a fault)
- Measures each trigger's reaction point and maximum reach
- Shows the input event delivery rate as measured on iOS / Android
- Keeps a diagnosis history on the device so you can reopen past results (controllers of the same model share one history — neither iOS nor Android exposes an identifier that tells two units apart)
- [iOS only] Ad removal as a one-time purchase
